Beta agonists
- Salbutamol
- IV infusion
- may delay delivery for 4-8 hours
- initially 10microgram / min increased gradually until contractions
less frequent
- slowly increased until contractions stop
- Adverse Effects
- headache
- flushing
- seating
- tachycardia
- hypokalaemia
- nausea and vomiting
