• Painful erythematous nodular lesions, 2-6 cm  

• shins

  • occasionally thighs

• streptococcal sore throat
• sarcoid
• TB
• inflammatory bowel disease
  • Crohn's Disease
  • Ulcerative Colitis
• drug reaction
  • sulphonamides
  • penicillin
  • oral contraceptives
• Rheumatic Fever
• many other systemic diseases
