  • plasma osmolality
    • high / upper end normal
  • plasma sodium
    • high / upper end normal
  • 24hr urine
    • high volume
  • Water deprivation test
    • failure of concentration with water deprivation
    • restoration of concentration with vasopression or analogue implies a cranial cause
