Zone 1

  • distal to insertion FDS tendon
  • halfway between PIPJ crease and DIPJ crease

Zone 2

  • between A1 pulley and insertion of FDS tendon
  • distal palmar crease to middle of middle phalanx

Zone 3

  • between flexor retinaculum and A1 pulley

Zone 4

  • within carpal tunnel

Zone 5

  • proximal to flexor retinaculum
