  • most common intracerebral neuroblastic tumour
  • cerebellum
  • highest frequeny at end of 1st decade
  • aggressive infiltration
  • disseminates through CSF

Histology

  • hyperchromatic round / oval nuclei
  • scant cytoplasm
  • no overall structure
  • rosette formation
    • feature of embryonic and neoplastic neuroblasts

Presentation

  • cerebellar dysfunction
  • hydrocephalus

Treatment

Prognosis

  • 10 year survival = 50%
