  • only get if homozygous for methionine at 129 of protein

    • motor
      • gait
      • chorea
  • cognitive
    • forgetfulness
  • death
    • due to bulbar paralysis

Investigations

  • biopsy of tonsils / brain
  • MRI
    • pulvinar (in the thalamus) hyper-intensity
