    • popliteal fossa
    • for
      • tenderness

      • cartilage

Move

  • active range of flexion / extension
  • passive range of flexion / extension
    • hand on knee to feel crepitus
    • hyperextension?
  • ligament stability
    • medial collateral ligament
    • lateral collateral ligament
    • anterior cruciate
      • pull tibia towards you
    • posterior cruciate
      • push tibia away

Further

  • apprehension test
    • push patella laterally and bend knee
  • McMurray's Test
    • hold joint steady
    • flex knee
    • slowly extend joint rotating foot first medially then laterally

Stand

  • inspect from

    • genu valgum / genu varum
