    • occasional end-diastolic murmur

Investigations

  • CXR
    • arterial hypertension
      • prominent pulmonary arteries close to hili
      • reduced (pruned) pulmonary arteries in peripheral lung fields
    • venous hypertension
      • dilatation of upper lobe vessels
      • fluid in interlobular fissures, interlobular septa, pleural spaces
      • indistinct hilar regions
      • hazy lung fields
