• golden crust indicative of Staphylococcus aureus

• affects mainly face and limbs

Pathology

• 90% Staph. aureus

• may be group A streptococcus

• topical fusidic acid + povidone iodine or
• flucloxacillin (Staphylococcus) / Penicillin V (Streptococcus )
• ? nasal muciprocin
