• transmitted via obturator and femoral nerves
• radiates to
  • anterior thigh
  • lateral thigh
  • buttock
  • anterior knee
  • anterior lower leg

Differential diagnosis

• trochanteric bursitis
• meralgia paraesthetica
• sacroiliac pain
• nerve root pain due to prolapsed disc
• aorto-iliac disease
