Hamartomas
- Juvenile Polyps
- Large or small bowel
- Cause bleeding or obstruction
- May auto-amputate in adolescence
- Peutz-Jeghers
- Diffuse GI polyposis
- Mucocutaneous pigmentation of lips and gums
- No malignant potential
Inflammatory Pseudopolyps
Tubular Adenoma
- neoplastic polyps
- small (<10mm)
- resemble raspberry
- most pedunculated, some sessile
Villous Adenoma
- neoplastic polyp
- often >20mm
- sessile
- elongated villi
