- stimulates secretion of bile acids and pigments by liver
- stimulates secretion of protein component of pancreatic
juice
- causes emptying of gall bladder
- also decreases rate of gastric emptying and increases tone
of pyloric sphincter
- potentiates the action of secretin on
pancreatic ducts.
